A few highlights from 2022:

I started the year at 5am, fortunate enough to be the only tourist at Abu Simbel in Luxor, Egypt. In February I turned 30, and decided it was the year for a few changes. A few days later, I flew to Poland and spent a few weeks there and in Ukraine, documenting Ukrainians leaving their country following the Russian invasion. In April I covered the World Pilot Gig Rowing Championships in the Isles of Scilly. In June I went to Saudi Arabia for a commercial shoot for the opening of a new yacht club in Jeddah. Summer was one of the hottest on record, with many days on the beach and countless trips to SW France. I kept busy with weddings in Cornwall, Devon and London. In August I went on holiday to India, gorging on curries and staying in the Ladakh mountains between 3500-5500m. Queen Elizabeth II died on the final night of the trip, so I was straight back to London, to cover the aftermath for Reuters. In October I went to Iraq to document the effects of explosive remnants of war on urban civilian populations. Just over a week later, I fulfilled a dream by moving permanently to Beirut, Lebanon. It was time for a break. In November I did very little. In December, I ate dinner outside, went surfing in my shorts and focussed on physical health and planning for the future. I'm looking forward to seeing what 2023 brings.

Thanks again to my clients, to Reuters, and to friends and family.
